Test Equivalencies For Display in Transferology
This article provides resources for institutions testing equivalencies for display in Transferology® as part of the onboarding process.
In this article:
CollegeSource recommends institutions test equivalencies before going live with Transferology® to help ensure that Match results are being returned as expected and enhance the institution's understanding of how equivalencies will display to students and staff in the applications. At a minimum, an institution should review the equivalencies to top partner schools before going live.
Manage Source Schools

Review the Unknown Schools tab in Manage Source Schools to verify which schools have yet to be linked to source codes supported by Transferology.
Check Transfer Rules

Course Bundles
Course Bundles are grouped collections of courses, standardized exams, military credits, and program requirements within Transferology® Lab. Institutions can create Transfer and Replacement Bundles to test Match results and verify that Glossary Messages are displaying.
See the following documentation for additional information:
uAchieve schools only
Institutions supplying equivalencies from uAchieve may find that Match percentages are lower than expected if the Transfer Articulation (TA) rule transfer/source course and the course code displayed in Transferology are not aligned, as noted above in Check Transfer Rules.
Similarly, the if TA rule home/target course and the course code in Transferology are not aligned due to extra or missing alpha and numeric characters, a lower-than-expected percentage match could be returned.
If rules with ACourses/IFlags are not being returned at the Match percentage expected, institutions can check the status assigned to these values on the ACourses/IFlags tab of Category Mappings. See ACourse and IFlag Scoring System for a description of assigned weights.
Transfer Equivalencies
Transfer Equivalencies is a feature of the Lab that allows users to view comprehensive lists of all equivalencies that participating schools have defined. As part of testing, institutions can review the equivalencies displayed for source schools, verify that Glossary Messages are displaying, and get an idea of the information staff members will see on this page.
