Course Bundles: View Replacement Bundle Matches
Course Bundles are grouped collections of courses, standardized exams, military credits, and program requirements within Transferology® Lab. These can be used by college staff to provide students with more efficient advisements and to research transfer scenarios. Pre-named bundles can be automatically created from advising & recruiting leads. This article provides an overview of how to search for and view Matches for courses and Requirement Categories contained within Replacement Bundles and Collaborative Replacement Bundles.

Course Matches
Courses Matches are courses, exams, and military credits that have been evaluated by the school as transferring back to or earning credit in place of a course offered at the school - assuming passing grades are received.
In the example above, 1 Course Match has been found to CollegeSource University's MATH150. For credit for MATH150 Calculus I at CollegeSource University, students can take MATH2204 at the transfer institution.
- Select the underlined course to view its description, or select Expand all course descriptions.
- Select collapse all course descriptions to hide them.
- Select the information icon to view notes, or select Expand all notes.
- To hide the note, click or tab away from it.
Requirement Category Matches
Requirement Category Matches are courses, exams, and military credits that have been evaluated by the school as transferring back to or earning credit not for a particular course, but rather as meeting a specific requirement - assuming passing grades are received.
In the example below, 1 Requirement Category Match has been found for the CollegeSource University (SH) Liberal Education - Humanities requirement.
To view courses that meet the noted requirement:
- Select the underlined Requirement Category name.
- In this case, Liberal Education - Humanities.
- A grid will appear, displaying the course(s) to take at the transfer institution to gain credit for the requirement.
Use the filter to look at results for a particular subject at the home institution.
Since Requirement Category names are linked to institutions' ACourses, AltCourses, and/or IFlags, it will be important for the person(s) reviewing Replacement Course Bundle Matches to have a knowledge of these conventions.
In the example below, the results communicate that if ECON1100 is taken at the transfer institution, the student can receive credit within the Liberal Education - Global Perspectives requirement at CollegeSource University (SH). A knowledge of CollegeSource University's AltCourse conventions also indicates that this course would transfer as an ECON1xx-level elective additionally counting towards the Social Science Liberal Education requirement.
No Matches
The Replacement Course(s) or Requirement Category for which no matches are found will be displayed on the (Number of) No Matches tab.
