Create Tuition Descriptions
This article provides instructions for adding Tuition Descriptions to the Profile Preview tab of the Transferology® Lab. School Administrators complete this step as part of the Transferology® onboarding process.
In this article:
Institutions can add three additional tuition values to the School Profile to help students better understand the cost of attending the college or university:
- Average Grants/Scholarships
- Average Graduate School Costs
- Custom Tuition Type
Students will see headings for provided values when searching for Matches in Transferology. Where information is not provided, the heading will be absent.
To add Tuition Descriptions:
- On the Profile Preview tab, select the Edit Profile button under the banner image.
- Select the Edit Tuition Descriptions button to the right of the Tuition Descriptions header.
- Fill in the following fields using the instructions below.
Average Grants/Scholarships
- Enter the Dollar Value of the tuition type.
- Enter a Description.
- Where a description is provided, users can select the information icon to view additional details.
- Limit: 300 characters.
- Select Save.
Average Graduate School Costs
- Enter the Dollar Value of the tuition type.
- Enter a Description.
- Where a description is provided, users can select the information icon to view additional details.
- Limit: 300 characters.
- Select Save.
Custom Tuition Type
- Enter the Title of the tuition type.
- Students and staff will see this title when viewing the School Profile after searching for matches.
- Limit: 25 characters.
- Enter the Dollar Value.
- Enter a Description.
- Where a description is provided, users can select the information icon to view additional details.
- Limit: 300 characters.
- Select Save.
