Manage TES Catalog Change Requests
This article overviews the process for managing TES Catalog Change Requests submitted by the institution. When there are differences between course codes on a student transcript and those used in the course catalog data sets in Transferology®, Transfer Specialists and Program Admins can use this feature to submit a request to CollegeSource to review the course code display.

To manage submitted requests:
- Go to the Rule Management menu.
- Select TES Catalog Change Requests.
The TES Catalog Change Requests screen will appear.
Previously submitted requests will be listed on the right under Active Requests by (Institution Name).
- Select the school name to display the submissions for that institution. This list includes submissions made by any Transfer Specialist or Program Admin at the institution, not just the user viewing the page.
- Use the available Actions to manage the requests.
Field | Description |
Request Date | The date the request was submitted. Format: MM/DD/YY HH:MM AM/PM ET |
Dept/CrsNo | The department abbreviation and course code for which a request was submitted. Examples: MATH103 = Request pertains to MATH103 only (submitted through Course-Level Changes path). MATH/103 = Request pertains to MATH103 only (submitted through Department-Wide Changes path). MATH050, MATH051 = Request pertains to MATH050 and MATH051 (multiple courses submitted through Course-Level Change path). all/* = request pertains to all courses within all Departments. BIOL/all = request pertains to all courses within the BIOL Department. |
Changes | Select the information icon to see the additional information provided by the user submitting the request on the Catalog Change Request Preview screen: |
Start Date | The values inputted into the Start Month and Start Year fields will be displayed. Example: SEPTEMBER 2019 |
End Date | The values inputted into the End Month and End Year fields will be displayed. Example: AUGUST 2024 |
Actions | A checkmark will populate this field by default, indicating the request is active. Requests will remain active unless resolved by a user at the institution. Mark Request as Resolved Select the checkmark to mark the request as resolved. The row will become highlighted, and a trashcan icon will appear in place of the checkmark. Remove Request To delete or remove a resolved request, select the trashcan icon. Transfer Specialists and Program Admins at the institution can resolve or delete any request - not just those the user submitted. |
