Separate Military Tables
This encoding method uses unique transfer institutions for all military courses and occupations.
If you already have your Military credit encoded using separate tables, but use a different InstIDs than the ones we use, be sure to map your school values to our codes via the Unknown Schools tab on the Manage Source Schools page in the Transferology Lab.
Legacy u.select would append V# (ex. V1 or V2) to some military coursework depending on which pay grade the student selected. The data we have obtained from ACE does not provide this information, so in Transferology we will no longer append those values on to the back of the course. Schools who already have military coursework encoded will need to make adjustments to their encoding in order to get matches in Transferology.
For non-uAchieve schools the "course mask" referenced below is a specific field in the uAchieve tables that simply acts as a guide for people who build transfer articulation rules.

Legacy u.select had two different Army Occupations: Army Enlisted (AREN) and Army Warrant (ARWA). Moving forward we have combined these two occupations into one table since they have the same department abbreviation and we can't distinguish between the two based on the data provided by ACE. If you have Army occupations encoded you will need to combine those two tables into one table if you want to have results in Transferology.
