NOTE: Audit Setup is restricted to School Administrators and Program Administrators at schools with audits enabled.

Reference Articulation

Reference articulation is a method that allows students to see both the incoming coursework (from a transfer school) and the applied courses (from the home school) for which they would receive credit–all in a single audit.

Two values on the Audit Setup page below must be set to determine whether to show the list of xref schools during the audit process: Audit Request Format and Degree Audit System.

If these values are set when running audits in Transferology, the user will be asked "Do you want to view how courses from another school might apply to this program?" This allows students to select a school and view how courses from that school would fit into their program.

Audit Report Type	Select an audit type from the drop-down menu: TXT HTM PDF NOTE: Audit Report Type field will be disabled if the Audit Request Format is set to any setting other than "Connector 5.x."	N
Audit Response Time	The estimated creation time for the degree audit report. The time includes the following steps: Transferology sends the degree audit request to the school The school’s degree audit server generates the degree audit report The school sends the degree audit report to Transferology NOTE: Be sure to specify the time measurement in the field, i.e., day or hours. For example, you may have 3 minutes, 1 day, or a few minutes listed in the Audit Response Time field. For example: 45 seconds	N
Audit InstIDQ	The desired institution code type used to identify schools within the degree audit system. The audit instidq typically includes the following: 71 (for IPEDSID) 72 (for ATP) 73 (for FICE) 74 (for ACT) However, any two-character value can be defined, including spaces. Connector Schools: For Connector schools, this value is your instidq. Non-Connector Schools For non-Connector schools, this value will be specified by the EntityIDCodeQualifier element of the External Degree Audit Guide Interface Specification.	N
Catalog first year term*	Select from a chronological list of terms for the catalog first year term from the drop-down menu: Beginning Winter Spring Summer Fall Ending	Y
EDAG XML data method*	Instructs Transferology on the proper method to send the degree audit request to the school’s degree audit server. Audit InstID	The code used to identify your own institution. The value should be a valid code within the code type defined in the Audit instIDQ field. For example, suppose your school uses IPEDSID–this field should be your school’s IPEDSID code. Connector Schools: For Connector schools, this value is your instid. Non-Connector Schools For non-Connector schools, this value will be specified by the EntityIDCode element of the External Degree Audit Guide Interface Specification.	N

EDAG SOAP action	Defines the SOAP action that Transferology sends as part of the SOAP request, only when SOAP HTTP Request body is chosen as the above EDAG XML data method. NOTE: EDAG SOAP Action will be disabled if the EDAG XML Data Method field is set to any setting other than "SOAP HTTP Request Body for PeopleSoft"	N
Audit InstCD	Typically left blank, the Audit instCD field identifies the instCD value for your school. Connector Schools: For Connector schools, this value is your instcd. Non-Connector Schools: For non-Connector schools, this value will be specified by the EntityIDCodeGroup element of the reference articulation. Warning: Any COM used to run an audit for Transferology or that will be rendered in DARwin interactive audit cannot use the WIFDPROG=F in uAchieve (click here for more details).	Y

Program current year only	Checkbox instructs Transferology on the proper catalog year term for a degree audit request. Check to enable Transferology to use the current year term, as long as the program’s fyt value is not in the future. When the fyt is in the future, Transferology uses the program’s fyt. Leave unchecked to disable, in which case Transferology uses the program’s lyt value for the program’s catalog year term.	N
