User Role Permissions for Lab Functionality
This article is designed to give the Transferology® Lab School Admin an overview of the user roles required to access functionality within the Lab. This document can be referenced when determining what roles are appropriate for the staff and faculty members at an institution.
In this article:
Functionality
Access to the functionalities in Transferology Lab is dictated by assigned user role(s) within the application. Below is an expanded view of all functionality available in the submenus within the Lab:
Additionally, within the Transferology Lab test environment, School Admins at institutions supplying local catalogs will see one additional item in the School Profile menu - Course Catalog Import/Export.
While most institutions use TES® as the source of course catalog data, some schools opt instead to provide Transferology with a CSV file of this information. It is through this functionality that the local catalog is uploaded. Once a catalog has been tested in this environment, the School Admin should reach out to CollegeSource to make the catalog available in production.
