The Programs page allows Lab users to view the program lists for different schools to create What-if audits (where available). Programs may be run for any school with integration connected to its degree audit.
From the Advising & Recruiting drop-down menu, click the Programs function:
The Programs page appears with two tabs: Programs and My Program Requests. The Program tab displays, but default, with an alphabetical listing of all of the Programs available at the school listed in the School Name field. A program's associated Degree Type is displayed, along with hyperlinks for Program Information and (possibly) Run Program.
The table of Program Names can be quite extensive. Scroll through the alphabetical list, or sort by typing into the Program field to search for the program of interest:
In the example above, the search "Engl" includes English and excludes Engineering.
The School Name field defaults to the name of the institution the user is logged in from:
To change schools in order to view programs at other institutions, type over the existing text in the School Name field:
The Program Names listed below the School and Program fields automatically changes to reflect the new school selection.
No Programs Found for Selected School
A school may not have any programs loaded into the Program Name list, indicating the school has no programs defined:
Running a Program not Enabled
A school may have some program data loaded in Transferology, but running a program functionality is not enabled:
Note the absence of the Run Program functionality. Although a list of programs at the school may be viewed, there is no ability to run audits–only to view Program Information via the hyperlinks.
To generate a program request, click the Run Program hyperlink for the desired program.
If the school associated with the selected program selected uses audits (e.g., uAchieve or DARwin), then Transferology will walk the user through a sequence of question and answer pop-up dior proceed through the boxes via the Next buttonlog boxes (4 maximum). These dialog boxes help the application provide additional information. Cancel an action using the Cancel button or proceed through the boxes via the Next button.
Have you completed the Ohio Transfer Mode?
Have you completed an associates degree from another university?
The first dialog box is optional and may/may not display. This box typically poses questions that are not universally applicable, e.g., state-specific questions.
What courses should be included when running this program?
-Include coursework from bundle, OR
-Do not include student coursework (default)
This dialog box addresses which courses to include in the program run.
View how courses from another school may apply to this program?
This dialog box allows for applying courses from another school.
Advisor must read the statement of assumption of a passing grade and check the checkbox before the Run Audit button is activated.
The last dialog box is a disclaimer of understanding before the audit may be run.
Behind the scenes, an e-mail from CollegeSource Quality Assurance confirming the program request is generated to the Advisor or Transfer Specialist:
